We were blessed with a perfect day for painting at River Farm.  Members spread out over the grounds, some painting the mansion, some the gardens and others the magnificent vista overlooking the Potomac.  We spent a leisurely morning painting and visiting with one another to see the progress on paintings and to engage in a favorite topic, the exchange of information on paints and gear. As we are all familiar with the region’s heat and humidity that will soon be on us we reveled in the cool, dry completely comfortable day.  The paintings produced reflected the beauty that surrounded us. I think River Farm will continue to be a favorite destination for the WSLP!

Attending were Lida Stifel, Jean Brinton Jaecks, Harry Jaecks, David Diaz, JoEllen Murphy, Lisa Mitchell, Lynn Goldstein, Jill Banks, Bobbi Pratte and guests Amy Waldrop and Vicki Blum
