August 15th Kenilworth Paint Out

Posted on 8/17/2021 3:57:12 PM - 1 Comment

WSLP met at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens yesterday in collaboration with the DC State Fair organization. The event was intended to promote the arts and make the public aware of WSLP and all that we do. It was a lovely day, luckily much cooler than the heat wave that preceded on the days before nine members were in attendance as well as 5 guests. The lotus blossoms were still in bloom and several members chose that as their inspiration. It was so good to get back together after a long period of separation!

In attendance:

Bernie Dellario, Barbara Nuss, Christine Drewyer, Andrei Kushnir, Bob Thoren, Meg Walsh, Pattee Hipschen, Jill Banks, Lida Stifel

Andrei Kushnir

Bernie Dellario

Pattee Hipschen

Jill Banks

Robert Thoren

Thanks to all for being such a welcoming and congenial group on 8/15! I really appreciated the opportunity to paint out with you as a guest. I was a great venue, with lively conversation and critique, and some truly impressive creative work.
