January Paint Out in Frederick, MD

Baker Park Bell Tower, Oil by Raymond Burns

In Attendance: Raymond Burns

Sunday's forecast wasn't too promising with a rain forecast for most of the day, so a light turnout was expected. Actually it was lighter than that - it was just me (as far as I know).

The parking garages in Frederick offer some good shelter and great views for a rainy day of painting. I parked in the West Patrick Street garage on the 4th floor and had a nice view looking out towards Baker Park.

The rain let up around noon so I made my way to the Delaplaine Art Center for lunch and a critique.

With no one around for a critique, I checked out the artwork in the galleries at the Delaplaine.
