September Mid-week Paint Out

It was a beautiful day when 6 WSLP members and 1 guest gathered at the Chesapeake Environmental Center in Grasonville MD for a mid week paint out. A few of us stayed on the comfortable shaded deck by the visitor center with gorgeous views of the marsh and water expanse.  Others ventured further afield to brave the sun and ticks!.  Weed whackers were in full force as well as very large frogs skipping in the marshy water.  This was a very interesting location with several intimate areas of ponds and wooded views.  We will certainly go back.

August Paint Out in Old Town Alexandria

Riverfront Park was absolutely gorgeous in late August for the paint out.  The day was full of sunshine with puffy clouds and a light breeze. It was in the low 70's. The painters couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. 

In attendance were:  Jack Pardue, Sarita Moffat, Christine Lashley, Ted Reed and guest Mike McSorley
