July 26th Waterford VA Paint Out

It was a great day of creativity and inspiration for our plein air group in historic Waterford, VA. Easels lined up along the streets and in the parks as artists captured some of the natural beauty of the area. We were fortunate that the weather was pleasant enough for this time of year. This village from the 1700’s with it’s white picket fences and enduring architecture is a treasured destination for artists.

The temps were in the upper 80s. The sky was mostly cloudy with periods of sun.

We found convenient seating overlooking the lotus pond and enjoyed catching up as we painted. It was a lovely morning!
