January 25th, Waterford, VA
The Jan’25 WSLP paint out took place in the historic town of Waterford. A yearly favorite, Waterford offers a wide variety of subject matter; quaint streets with historic houses, grist mill, Catoctin Creek, open fields devoid of any modern structures. There was still plenty of snow on the ground from the storm several weeks back. The morning was cold but not unbearable and warmed up to around 40 degrees by noon. Sky was partially cloudy and winds were light. A wonderful morning to be spent outdoors painting.
