We had a really beautiful day to paint at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. The sun was out in full strength and, while it wasn't excessively hot, most people headed for the abundant shade supplied by the trees. Many varieties of aquatic plants were in full bloom with the ponds full of white, pink and red blossoms. Monet would have loved it.

Some artists chose to go out on the boardwalk to the viewing stands to paint the marsh and streams. Unfortunately, our timing was off. The tide was going out by the time we arrived and the streams were rapid ly transforming themselves into mud flats. But they were beautiful mud flats.
