It turned out to be a beautiful and bright day to paint. You can't ask for more than a warm Thanksgiving weekend. Some families were having picnics in the park, and others were spending some fun time at the ice skating rink, which to my surprise, was open for most of the morning even in the warm weather. The sky was very clear and blue and left great reflections on the water.

Most artists chose to paint water scenes. Some set up by the South River overlook, others by the Harness Creek and boat rental pier. Mimi, Genevieve and I painted by the visitor center. All the artists got together around noon and we had an informative critique.

Members attending were Gray Dodson, Mimi Hegler, Barry Lindley, Adrienne Burrows, Sarita Moffat, Genevieve Roberts and Hiu Lai Chong. Guests attending were Trisha Adams, Web Bryant, Raymond Burns, and Lorrie Herman.
