ARTIST'S STATEMENT
He paints in transparent watercolor, often working on location but also in his studio from field sketches, notes, and photographs. Early work included studies in oil, pen and ink, and block printing, as well as abstract paintings in acrylics. He paints full time and teaches in his studio in Old Town, Fairfax, Virginia.
