The weather did not cooperate with us in this first paintout of 2007. There was an unceasing drizzle and the temperature hovered just above freezing so the cold and dampness penetrated to the bones. The weatherman indicated that the rain was supposed to move out. We waited, and we waited, and we waited. It did not happen.

Despite this 4 hardy members showed up. We sought shelter where we could find it, which wasn't much. Some stood under an overhang at the boathouse and attempted to do some sketching while waiting in vain for the rain to cease. We finally decided to give up and the last of us left by eleven o'clock.
