Early morning showers caused some members to really think before they drove way out to Burkittsville but they decided to take a chance and it really paid off. The showers moved east, the sky turned a beautiful blue and the sun gave us lush colors and striking contrasts.

As usual, each artist had to find his own special place so we were scattered all over and around the town. Once again it seemed that there were few participants but at critique time members and guests turned up carrying their wet paintings.

The members present were Ed Ahlstrom, Lani Browning, Marietje Chamberlain, Ed Cooper, Bruce Handford, Mimi Hegler, Harry Jaecks, Barbara Piegari, Genevieve Roberts, Meg Walsh, and Daniel Wise. Guests present were Mark Ingraham, Brenda Kidera, Sarita Moffat, and Vince Neraoka.
