Marlboro Gallery, Prince George's Community College Paintings (continued)
"Ninety-Nine Years and Counting: An Exhibition by the Washington Society of Landscape Painters"
At the Marlboro Gallery of Prince Georges Community College, the Society will exhibit landscape paintings from around the Washington area as well as around the United States.
Society members have found themselves in the enviable position of promoting the environmental and conservation movement. These professional artists interpret the beauty and pristine nature of the landscape, some of it untouched by human hands. Their work is a contemporary response to what surrounds them in the 21st century while they often search for meaningful fragments reminiscent of another time and way of life.
The gallery is located at the college at 301 Largo Road, Largo, MD 20774.
